Sacred Heart Alumni and Supporters
Metric Century Bike Rally:
The 100 Kilometer (63 mi.), 65 Kilometer (40 mi.), and 35 Kilometer (22 mi.) course is pedaled over paved roads in this beautiful and scenic North Texas area. It is a fast and challenging course. Be prepared for some long and steep climbs up rolling hills and the exhilaration you'll experience coming down!
Tug of War:
The Tug of War takes place right in the middle of the event for all to see, surrounded by great food options, two Muenster Jaycee beer vans, and our Main Stage! Do you have what it takes to be Siegreich?

The 5K course has an all new finish line at Heritage Park - Muenster, Texas, right in the heart of Germanfest!
Finish strong as Germanfest revelers cheer you on, then celebrate with complimentary beer just steps away from the finish line!
State Championship BBQ Cook-Off:
Germanfest is making a triumphant return, and it's time to get cooking! The Outlaw BBQ Association and Brothers of Service MA Build a Medic BBQ Cook-Off is calling your name - will you answer and show off your BBQ skills? The stakes are high, with the title of Germanfest pit master and a $5,000 prize on the line. Are you ready to put your skills to the test and become the Cook-Off Champion?

Weiner Dog Races:

​Hold your bun, you won't need it for this! Do you think you have the fastest Weiner in State? We are excited to be bringing this event to Germanfest this year! If you think your weiner is to small, don't fret, there will be Weiners of all sizes! Size does not matter for our weiner race! Come enjoy the biggest party this side of the Mississippi! The Muenster Jaycees will have their beer van to quench your thirst while you cheer for your Weiner to be crowned Muenster Germanfest Champion! You don't wanna miss this party, everyone and their dog will be there! Bring Dein Wurstchen Mit!

Stein Hoisting:
​
​Can you hold your beer? Join us for the Germanfest Stein Hoisting Competition! Contestants must extend their arm and hold a full stein of beer at shoulder height for as long as they can. The rules are simple: no bending your elbow, no spilling, and no switching hands. It's a true test of strength, endurance, and sheer willpower!

• Two leagues: Men and Women
• Winner receives a stein trophy and $250 cash
• All participants will receive the beer in the steins after competition (Beer will be transferred to cups)
• $10 entry fee
• Last man/woman standing is winner, winner takes all
